New Baltimore Trade Center

Just like Gibraltar Trade Center [without the cost of parking, haha]!! How did I not know this place existed, before?! I'm told it's been open for ~2 years! I guess it's usually much busier, but we went on a day with absolutely horrible weather outside and during this whole COVID overreaction nonsense, so crowds are pretty thin. Smaller footprint, but nearly the same variety of shops inside. Friendly sellers. Things you can't find elsewhere, along with a healthy amount of the regular things you'll find at open markets - lots of collectible figures and comics and cards and toys, art, natural healing effects, crafts, clothes and accessories, home made edibles and snacks, pet supplies, custom embroideries, jewelry... Always a deal to be found! Very fun way to spend an hour or two wandering the storefronts on a weekend!

The only reason I gave 2 stars is the formar custodian of the building did an amazing job keeping it clean. Great work uncle steve. Hello I am Madison. I was a vendor here for the last few months. I was sold to a 3 month lease being told this was a "pet and kid friendly place" for vendors and customers. I was also told " we get great business on Saturday and Sunday especially during events ". Well I shorty realized that was not the case. Not only was there less traffic than promised but the new management would scream at my kids for playing on toys in public areas that were put there for kids. My kids have ADHD so I guess kids are ok just not the neuro spicy ones. And that was not the only time my children were cornered and yelled at. It happend at least 2 more times that I know of. So getting upset as a mother I told the owners that "someone without kids and no chance of ever making a child of their own has no right to scream at my kids." And this was also after he screamed in my face about my kids (this was the first time I ever talked to this person and they were screaming in my face). So I packed my stuff broke the lease lost my deposit and on my way out just tried to mention to the 2nd manager to say the 1st should be more sensitive when talking to someone and not just scream in their faces but the 1st manager overheard the conversation and AGGRESSIVELY Advanced towards me, I am 5.4 he is 6.3, I said I was going to CALL MY HUSBAND like any woman would when they feel threatened (we have one car. There was no way he could be there accept over the phone) and I was screamed at that it was a "threat " to simply need my husband's emotional support over the phone and told I was trash a bad mother and to leave. *And during my time there they would go into my locked booth to turn off and unplug my plant lights (that I had set on timers and automatically go off and on)I needed to keep my inventory alive.* So simply, i will never be returning to the New Baltimore Trade Center for a lease or business of any kind.
